Anesthesiologist and intensivist at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. She is the Postgraduate Program Director of the Anesthesiology Residency Training Program, and is also actively engaged in research. Dr. Leitch is currently running a trimodal prehabilitation trial using virtual care to optimize patient’s physical fitness prior to major surgery.
Rachel Baker
The Robins Family Assistant Professor of Engineering Chemistry at Queen’s University, where she began her appointment in 2023, with a cross-appointment to the Department of Chemistry. Her early impact on the scientific community has earned her a place on the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Science.
Kristine Spekkens
Professor in the Department of Physics, Engineering Physics and Astronomy, where she is the Canada Research Chair in Gas-Rich Galaxy Structure. She leads a research group that focuses on understanding the structure and evolution of nearby galaxies.
Tiffanie Bankosky
Engineering Program Manager at Lumentum and has been working there since graduating from Queen’s Eng Phys in 2022. Though she did a 16-month internship at IPG Photonics, she’ll always be a Sci’21 at heart. Tiffanie is also one of the co-instructors (with her twin sister) of the Queen’s Karate Club!
Yvette MacIsaac
Graduated class of ‘89 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from TUNS (Dal Tech). She worked for 9 years at DuPont (Invista) as a process engineer, supervisor, and manufacturing engineer. From there, she transitioned to manufacturing leadership at Hershey’s in Smiths Falls for the next 10 years.
