Stephanie Thompson

As an engineer with General Motors, board member for Innovate Niagara, and a 4x recipient of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women, Stephanie is passionate about empowering women and shaping the future of STEM. 

Anna D’souza

As an Account Director at Bridge Medical Communications, Anna brings 6+ years of experience in blending creative strategy with scientific rigor. With a PhD in Cellular Physiology, Anna is passionate for helping women build careers beyond the lab.  

Helena Ziemer

A Queens Alum with a BScH in Kinesiology and Business Certificate, Helena has built an impressive career in Medical Device Sales while continuing to share her passion for fitness through her online “HellaFit” community. 

Kelly Godkin

A Queen’s Master’s Student in Biomechanical Engineering, Kelly’s research investigates sex specific differences within the thumb, with aspirations to enter the field of female sports equipment design after graduation.  

Mashiat Ibtida Huq

Mashiat is currently completing her PhD studies at Queen’s with focused on nanofabrication methods and integrated circuits. She is eager to use novel approaches to bring optical theories into fruition.

 This event provides the opportunity to connect with female professionals from industry and academia in science and engineering. Attendees will hear from dynamic speakers sharing real-world stories, while enjoying a delicious dinner.
