“The Future Women in Engineering and Science Conference (FWESC) is a one-day conference designed to encourage high school students in Ontario to consider Science and Engineering as post-secondary programs. The event will be held on Queen’s University campus on Saturday January 10, 2015 and will be tailored to help students learn about and understand studying in the Science and Engineering fields. The day will consist of established speakers, interactive workshops, and a panel discussion. Attending FWESC is a also a great opportunity to interact with current undergraduate students in Science and Engineering, the speakers, and other high school students making the same decision. In addition to the conference, the FWESC initiative extends to presenting information on science and engineering at high schools in Kingston, Ottawa, and the GTA.”
